But Seriously Folks...

I do have this runtime error that is the current bane of my
existence. And hey, that's saying a lot. Anyone got any
ideas for me?

actually, it really only happens when I access from AOL, so I guess the answer is... don't access it from AOL ;)

I did a search of "unterminated string constant error" and found a slew of equally frustrated people posting in forums all over the world.

Nothing wrong with the code, but if staying away from AOL's browser helps, by all means do that. The few times I've used AOL, I tend to simply minimize the AOL window and use IE or Mozilla.

The only good thing about AOL is starting a war in one of their chat rooms.

Dude. AOL is gay. So is IE.

Is the full error message posted on your blog? I'm new to your blog, which I came across while visiting She Just Walks Around With It (um...no sexual pun intended. yeah, right). I'm a network administrator and I work with a programmer.

Maybe I can help?

Now back to reading your previous posts so I can find some of that dirty talk you mention.

yeah but I started my internet "experience" with aol - and i use it as my business email addy - piggybacked onto my broadband. I don't want to change that now. I do find that it... makes my IP harder to trace, makes my email harder to break into than using outlook etc. and you don't pay as much for it when you bring your own internet connection. (isn't that nice of them)

however, there are glitches sometimes... but if i pop up another window and browse independently of aol when i'm blogspot i dont get the error so... FUCK IT

and the drinking suggestion isn't bad either. you know. in general.

and she walks around with it- awesome blog.

I think the information i have read here has been really useful, as i know a few friends who suffermigrainesand one thing that has helped a couple of them is a Bioflow. They purchased them at migraines. It hasn't worked for all of them, but has completely eradicated the problem for one of them, and made the migraines much more bearable for the other. It might be worth a look

haha, that last comment so belongs on this post!

Yeah, actually, i'm not sure if that's a spam comment or not, as much as I talk about migraines. So... huh.

Anyway, I checked out that website. Its magnet therapy. I actually tried that once. It didn't work. The only thing that works for me is topamax and painkillers.

AOL sucks. The prolem is on their side I'm sure. Nothing you can do about it.

Ok. I'm sure you've tried this already. Assuming it's directly related to your AOL that is.

Uninstall AOL. Clean your Windows 'Temp' directory (c:\windows\temp). Install AOL again.

Unless of course you use a MAC in which case I don't know where the temp directory is located.

Dude. I think the runtime error killed you. You need to update this bitch up in here.

I can't help you beyond the advice you have already received -- I am grateful for existing code because I have no interest in learning it myself. I choose to focus on writing instead of computer programming, and I think computers around the world are better off for that.

And it gives me more time to stare at ladies' miniskirts ... heheheh
